Abstract - Contribution to the knowledge of the genus Golofa Hope, 1837 with description of Golofa gianassoi sp. nov. from Bolivia (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Dynastinae: Dynastini) - Golofa gianassoi sp. nov. is described and illustrated on the basis of a pair collected 60 years ago in Bolivia, home to 4 other taxa of Golofa Hope, 1837. The new species exibits quadridentate protibiae: consequently, it belongs to the subgenus Mixigenus J. Thomson, 1859. The new species male has a uniform black colour of elytra, a quite rare character in the males of Golofa (< 10%). Golofa gianassoi sp. nov. is close to G. pelagon Burmeister, 1847: the differential morphological characters are highlighted.

Abstract - Revision of the Italian species of the genus Amadotrogus Reitter, 1902 (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Melolonthinae: Rhizotrogini) - About 1500 specimens of the Italian species belonging to the genus Amadotrogus Reitter, 1902 were studied. The following systematics changes are proposed: Amadotrogus grassii (Mainardi, 1902) and Amadotrogus tarsalis (Reiche, 1862) are new synonyms of Amadotrogus insubricus (Burmeister, 1855); the synonymy Rhizotrogus rugifrons Burmeister, 1855 = Amadotrogus vicinus (Mulsant, 1842) is discussed; Amadotrogus luigionii n. sp. from Central Tyrrhenian Italy (South Tuscany, Latium and Campania) is described. A key (Italian/English) to the Italian species and their updated geonemy are provided.

** Via 25 Aprile 5, I-09040 Maracalagonis CA, ITALY.

Abstract - A new Typhloreicheia from southeastern Sardinia, sampled in hypogean environment on Mt. Taccu, San Nicolò Gerrei (Gerrei) (Coleoptera, Carabidae, Scaritinae) - The authors describe Typhloreicheia deianai n. sp., sampled in two caves located in the “Gerrei” area: Risorgente di Sa Turru N°2521/Sa, and Grotta Su Fummu n.c./Sa (Mt. Taccu, San Nicolò Gerrei) (southern Sardinia, north of Cagliari). The new species should be placed in the “parallela group” (sensu MAGRINI & ONNIS, 2018), for both outer characters and the structure of male genitalia; it is close to Typhloreicheia dewaelei Magrini & Onnis, 2018, from which is markedly distinct by the following features: smaller size; shorter body with proportionally longer antennae; narrower pronotum, particularly at the base; shorter and broader elytra; smaller aedeagus with a shorter and broader copulatory piece, with a differently conformed terminal hooked lamina. The new species is also compared with the two known species of the “carlonnisi group” (sensu MAGRINI, ONNIS & CASALE, 2019), related but with clearly different copulatory pieces.

Abstract -  Preliminary diagnosis of Pterostichus (Adelopterus) benellii n. sp. from Corsica (Coleoptera, Carabidae, Pterostichinae) - It is given herein a preliminary diagnosis of Pterostichus (Adelopterus) benellii n. sp. from Corsica (Mount Cinto), since at present only three specimens are known, however, the differences with respect to the other known species of the same subgenus - Pterostichus (Adelopterus) ambiguus (Fairmaire, 1858) - are so evident to allow a clear identification and separation. The main differences are: narrower and slenderer body, longer and thin antennae, smaller and less convex eyes, not transverse and with more evident sinuation prothorax, longer and with parallel sides elytra, thinner and elongated legs, definitely smaller aedeagus (considering that the two species are similar in size), its median lobe shorter in lateral view and more pointed in ventral view; 9th uritis smaller, shorter, more pointed, and with different inner sclerites.
